Dhanush and Tamannaah Bhatia joins hands with Hari for " Vengai"

Hari’s next film is named as Vengai, the director joins hands with actor Dhanush for the first time. The movie stars Dhanush, Tamanna in lead roles. Raj Kiran is also doing a key role in this film. Venkatarama Reddy is producing the film under the banners of Vijaya Vauhini Studios.
When Hari was interviewed about this film he said that, it is a big mistake by an angered person to wield the sickle but it’s not so if the police do the same. The story of the film is based on these lines. Dhanush plays a fiery villager’s role and Tamanna appears as a village girl. Vengai story has the backdrop of Sivagangai district and hence the shoot is also supposed to take place there.
The director earlier announced the title for this film as Aruva but due to the comments for this title he re-named it as Vengai.
