Collections though dipped on the second day [6.5 cr] compared to first day [7.1 cr], the film on Sunday did excellent business by collecting Rs. 8.75 cr. considering the films budget, it’s already a super hit in the making.

Salman Khan’s ‘Chillar Party’ owing to good reviews has picked up with each day. The film had a decent run in the weekend especially after its poor opening [45 lakhs]. It fetched Rs 3.15 cr nett till now.

On the other hand, Delhi Belly has proved quite a winner for Aamir Khan. The film is going to packed houses especially in the multiplexes for the second week too. The film made on a budget of Rs 30 cr has till now collected Rs 48.75 cr net thus making it as a super hit of the year.

Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Bbuddah- Hoga Terra Baap’ if not competed with Delhi Belly would have fared much better than now, even though it’s a profit in the making. The 10 day collection of the film stands at Rs 13.5 cr nett. Bbuddah is made on a budget of 10 cr and satellite rights of the film were previously sold for Rs 13 cr.

Certainly a good July start for Bollywood considering June end with Double Dhamaal also proved fruitful.
