Bollywood star couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Kanna are in the major controversial news of Bollywood industry yet again for bad reasons. The news is all about Akshay's wife's link with Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim.
In 2009, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna were ‘arrested’ by the Mumbai police on charges of obscenity in public.
Reportedly Twinkle Khanna was indulging in unbuttoning act with hubby Akshay Kumar who was promoting Levis 'Unbuttoned' jeans while walking the ramp for noted designer Tarun Tahiliani.
Twinkle was arrested by police after a case was registered by a social activist against the couple for allegedly indulging in an obscene act during a fashion show.
Incidentally a model was supposed to unbutton Akshay's jeans but the actor insisted that his wife does the act. Little did the actor know that his act would snowball into a major controversy and make the couple do rounds of the police station.

‘I don’t know from where all these rumors come from. There has been a lot of stuff which has been reported for no reason. This news was there for a day only. If there was some truth in it, my house would have been raided. Its been days since then it has been reported, and not even a constable has come to my house for any kind of enquiry. May be because of the lack of truth and verification in some of the reports that are coming up, there are certain times in a star’s life when he or she has to face some kind of difficulties,’ said Akshay supporting his wife.
The actor added that he was disturbed by such reports, but was getting used to it.
"Such kind of gossip and news keep coming up and sometimes it does create difficulties, but slowly you get used to it," he said.
