Kollywood leading Ace filmmaker Manirathnam is vigorously working on script for his next movie that is based on the famous novel Ponniyin Selvan. The buzzes have been high on airs about this movie that is reported to be produced at a whooping budget of Rs.250 Crores, as it revolves around a famous kingdom with lots of top-notching technical vistas involved in it. Known earlier, that the filmmaker has signed three reigning actors – Vishal, Vikram and Vijay for the lead roles for this movie. Following the grand success of ‘Enthiran’, Sun Pictures is planning to produce this movie at bigger budget in collaboration with Manirathnam’s Madras Talkies.

If a film is coming up in the direction of Maverick director Manirathnam mostly it is expected to be a multi starrer. He is one of the few film makers who succeeded in making multi starrer flicks.
Sources say Manirathnam is coming with a multi starrer by casting big names of Kollywood Vijay, Vikram and Vishal in his next film. Mani Ratnam is currently busy in preparing the script basing on these three actors. Manirathnam is full of life in getting Vijay, Vikram and Vishal the three leading actors of Kollywood.
